Do you have experience in project management and working with security issues in the public sector and want to participate in the Government Offices' security work? As our new employee, you will have an important assignment with varied and interesting tasks and many points of contact.

In the role of project manager within the security department, you primarily work as a sub-project manager in property projects or project manager in security projects. In your role, you are responsible for time and resource planning, budgeting, and continuous financial follow-up of the projects, as well as for following up and controlling deliveries. You prepare decision-making documents, establish PMs, and prepare cases, as well as participate in ongoing work to develop working methods for project work.

You represent your own organization and inform, communicate, and contribute to fruitful collaborations and networks within the security department and throughout the Government Offices, as well as with property owners and other external stakeholders.

Your role also means that you may work with other tasks within the security area, both in projects and in the line organization. As a project manager, you are part of the physical protection section within the unit for physical protection and surveillance, which is one of three units in the Security Department.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and education in project management. You also have relevant education in the security field for the position. Furthermore, you have experience leading projects in the security and/or property area and have experience from having previously driven and implemented security technical solutions in project form. You have knowledge of budgeting and financial follow-up and have knowledge in establishing and following up time and resource plans.

It is meritorious if you have undergone security protection-related training and if you have training in project tools. Experience working with security issues in the public sector and in a larger organization is also meritorious. Experience in sensitive security operations is also meritorious. Furthermore, experience in project management during renovations while operations are ongoing is meritorious. Experience with project tools and experience working in XLPM is also meritorious. We also see it as meritorious to have knowledge of technical property infrastructure and physical security, as well as competence and knowledge in security and operational protection.

Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

Other

One or more permanent positions starting with a six-month probationary period. The position is classified in a security class, and a security review with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen but may have a foreign background.
